How does it bend? I'm about to start my next build with one of the sets I resawed, and I'm considering a venetian cutaway. But if there's a high breakage factor, maybe I'll just go with a Florentine.

Hi
I have bent 3 sets of Mac Ebony in the past few months.....
No problems. I just misted the wood with my sprayer and wrapped in brown
paper (Also misted) I took my time but it bent easily.
Andy

Thanks, Andy! How tight of a radius did you bend to?

I bent 3 sets in 3 different size molds
000 12 fret
OM 14 fret
0 12 parlor
None of them had a cutaway
So the tightest curves were probably the upper bout.
I heated my blanket to 275 degrees or so before bending/
I have one of John Halls benders

Thanks, Andy! How did the sound of each body style with the Macassar compare to the others? (Sorry to keep pestering you with questions.)

Well the 000 12 fret was great. The OM14 is getting finished.
The 0 parlor is nice. Not like my other OM 14's, but for a small bodied
guitar it is very nice
